Among the many fantastic wedding venues of Florence, Villa Tolomei Hotel & Resort deserves special mention. More and more engaged couples worldwide choose it for their destination wedding in Florence, Tuscany. Maybe it’s for its luxurious rooms and beautiful common areas. Perhaps it’s because of its vast outdoor spaces, surrounded by ancient olive trees and a magnificent view. Or maybe because it’s located just a stone’s throw from the center, the beating heart of Florence, where this loving couple decided to have their wedding.
The bride and groom got ready in their rooms at Villa Tolomei Hotel & Resort. The bride spent her latest moments as a single together with her mother before stepping into her wedding dress to join her groom at the Church of Santissimi Apostoli, in the center. Here, a touching religious ceremony took place in an exceptional historical setting, a stone’s throw from Ponte Vecchio and the Arno River.
I captured their wedding photos in the most breathtaking spots of Florence, strolling through monumental gardens and the artistic beauties of the Renaissance. Between their smiles and romantic glances, I portrayed them as relaxed and happy while enjoying their most beautiful day.
In the meantime, the guests were having an aperitif of cocktails and canapes on the stunning terrace with a view, where the bride and groom arrived a little later and started the celebrations. At sunset, the dinner in the cloister took place, interspersed with the traditional speeches and their first dance as husband and wife. Afterward, the party continued on the terrace, where the newlyweds cut the cake went wild with their guests to follow. I greeted them here, still excited for the longest day that I’m sure they won’t easily forget.
