Villa Vignamaggio is one of those places where you could spend an entire lifetime. It is a just renovated old Tuscan-style village near Panzano in Chianti, in one the most picturesque parts of Italy. The property offers rooms for its guests, who spend a few days relaxing in the countryside, making excursions and visiting the most famous wineries in the area. Villa Vignamaggio is also the perfect wedding venue for any photo shoot. The central house, with its pink walls in contrast with the intense green of the vegetation, is ideal for portraits. All around, vineyards, hills and silence: the ultimate dream for every wedding photographer.
This lovely Canadian couple decided to celebrate their wedding here. An intimate celebration, which was attended by the photographer, the celebrant and four talented musicians. The ceremony took place in the garden, where the bride and groom promised each other eternal love exchanging wedding rings and vows. After the ceremony, I pictured the newlyweds in the most evocative spots of the villa: some pictures among the vines, a walk on paved roads lined with cypress trees on the sides and then inside the garden. They were still beaming and excited, so I was able to capture relaxed and natural photos while they chatted. For the occasion, the couple had rented a beautiful convertible Alfetta. So, we took a ride on the winding roads in the surrounding area. We stopped at sunset in a beautiful scenic spot, where I greeted them after taking a few photos.
There is nothing better than starting your honeymoon in a lovely place like Villa Vignamaggio. Don’t you think so?
