Wedding Four Seasons Florence

Choosing the best venue for your destination wedding in Florence takes time and patience. It’s not as easy as it might seem, especially for those who plan the wedding from abroad.

There are so many beautiful locations that can be taken into account for the big day in Italy. Tuscany and Florence are full of charming historical villas with gardens,  grand entrances and magnificent views of the surrounding landscape. A good wedding planner might guide you to the best choice for you and your guests.

But if your dream is a romantic elopement in Italy, things get more complicated. Not having to handle a large number of guests, any place can be a match for an unforgettable ceremony.

Many villas and hotels for destination weddings in Florence offer terraces with views of the city and the Arno river. None of these venues, however, can provide the quality of a Four Seasons Wedding Florence. It is here, on a warm September day, that a loving couple has crowned their dream of love.

The Four Seasons Hotel is very suitable for every type of wedding and elopement. The location, first of all, is enviable. This luxury hotel is located in the historic centre of Florence, just a few steps from the Duomo and Ponte Vecchio. The ideal choice for those looking to experience the wedding in the city, and take the opportunity for some couple’s photos during a walk on the paved streets of the old town. But not only.

The Wedding Four Season Florence is ideal for those wishing to live a part of the day in a beautiful garden with secular trees, the largest in the centre. In addition to this, the lobby, the restaurant and the rooms are in a historic building, offering among other things, the possibility to use for the reception the Conventino, a real church which is located into the property.

The bride and the groom, despite all the attractions offered, opted for a simple and intimate ceremony in the small and delightful chapel of the hotel. The entrance was adorned with candles, and many rose petals marked the path of the bride along the floor. A brief but intense ceremony. The wedding lunch took place also in the chapel. The award-winning cuisine, fine wine and the excellences of the territory were the protagonists of an unforgettable meal.

The first part of the couple’s portraits has been taken in the hotel and in the park. The first, perfect for solemn photographs among Renaissance corridors and rooms. The second, for more casual and relaxed photos, overlooking the Duomo and the natural wonders of the garden. But there’s more! They wanted to get a few pictures in the rolling hills of Tuscany.  So we headed to the south of Tuscany. Just a few minutes from Florence, and we found ourselves in a magical setting, in the beautiful light of a sunset to remember for a long time. Many photos of intimate and funny moments, before returning to the city.
