The Antica Fattoria di Paterno is my favourite wedding venue in Tuscany. There is no other place in Italy with comparable features. The well-cared garden, the beautiful terrace with a view, the fabulous tower, the piazza paved with cobblestone and the pool with a view are just some of the great features of this fabulous villa. The owners always take into great considerations spouses’ needs, and renovate the villa yearly, adding peculiarities and details that make it even more functional and good-looking. That’s why a Wedding at Antica Fattoria di Paterno is always a good idea. Overall, if you add two good-looking newlyweds to the equation, the result is a photo shoot among the most beautiful of the year. It looks luck was on my side that day!
The symbolic ceremony took place on the terrace with a view, where guests attended a touching rite. The bride walked down the aisle together with her brother in the early afternoon. After the faithful YES, the couple walked the same path, now as husband and wife, while the guests tossed their petals.
The first part of the reception of the wedding at Antica Fattoria di Paterno took place on the lawn. While family and spouses were busy with portraits in the backyard, guests enjoyed excellent local wines and canapes as an appetiser in the garden of the villa. The dinner took place in the courtyard. The wedding planners Ilaria and Lara arranged tables with many flowers and candles, really a treat! I witnessed the touching speeches of the mother of the groom and the best man, after which spouses and guests began to dance. Here are some photos!
