An engagement session in Florence is always a good excuse to enjoy a few relaxing days in the capital of Tuscany. The beauty of the town, the good food, art, fancy boutiques are just a few good reasons to spend some time in Florence. And possibly to explore the beauties of Tuscany, only a few minutes far from the Arno River. And, of course, to have your pictures taken by a professional photographer also!
These British lovebirds had one more reason to flee here: they’re getting married in Tuscany next year and, for their engagement session, they want Florence. as the backdrop of their photos. It was a pleasure to direct and portray them in some of the fascinating spots in town. We walked through the streets of the old centre, among Renaissance statues and marvellous backgrounds. I took the opportunity to show them the hidden wonders of the Tuscan capital, among Piazzale Michelangelo and its breathtaking view, to the monumental gardens and their shades of autumn colours.
The day was sunny and the climate perfect for light clothing. She wore a beautiful pair of Louboutin, perfectly in tune with the sweater and the mood of the engagement photographs. It could have been a problem to walk on the cobblestone of Florence, but the bride-to-be looked perfectly comfortable in her heels – I LOVE heels, see the best bridal shoes!
