If you are planning a celebration in Tuscany, a wedding at Borgo Petrognano is the best thing you can do! Borgo Petrognano is one of the most beautiful venues of Tuscany. It’s located in Barberino Val d’Elsa, perched on the hills between Chianti. Time seems to have stopped here. The whole village is built with ancient elements, in perfect harmony with the environment, and is full of colours and charm. Enchanted by such beauty, these two American lovebirds flew across the ocean to celebrate their wedding at Borgo Petrognano.
Borgo Petrognano is a gem of a place to escape the Florence and Rome heat, and relax. Each corner gives you a perfectly photogenic scenery; it looks to be explicitly made for fantastic wedding photos. The venue offers many incredible features. The couples can rent the place weekly and accommodate around forty guests. You can welcome them with a fabulous Pizza Party, with pizzas cooked on-site in Petrognano’s brick oven. Between barbecues, diving in the pool with a view and trips to the near Val d’Orcia, the spouses might not want to get married anymore!
The bride got ready along with her bridesmaids before walking down the aisle to her groom. The Jewish ceremony took place beneath a spectacular tunnel of climbing plants overlooking Tuscany, the perfect scenario for an unforgettable celebration. The first part of the reception took place in the garden by the pool. Some fancy cocktails and family photos, and it was already time for the guests to take their sits for dinner in the shade of the big Petrognano tower. I took some portraits of the newlyweds at sunset. I asked them to walk hand in hand, talking about their first impressions and relaxing after all the emotions of their Big Day. My job couldn’t be easier! After sunset, lots of speeches of their loved ones before cutting the cake and going wild on the dance floor. They won’t soon forget their wedding at Borgo Petrognano. And I hope to see them always happy and carefree like today!
