Maternity photos are among the most popular shoots for mothers expecting their babies. Pregnancy photographs are usually taken indoors in a studio with artificial light. Not in this case!
Florence provided the most beautiful backdrop for these motherhood pictures. A heartfelt thank you to A&W who, with the occasion of celebrating their early wedding anniversary, chose the capital of Tuscany to have their portraits taken as a couple, or rather as a trio! The mother-to-be had contacted me a few weeks earlier to arrange the photo shoot. Her main concern was to be surrounded by hundreds of tourists – so we opted for a sunrise session to avoid the crowds and thus have Florence all to ourselves. A&W posed for the photographer between a stroll in front of the Cathedral and stolen kisses on Ponte Vecchio. All around, Florence was still asleep, and us happy and amazed at such beauty.
The belly with the baby-to-be was clearly visible. Who knows if the couple, of Italian descent, might decide to give their baby an Italian name? That would be the most legendary way to remember this maternity photo shoot and wedding anniversary in Florence!
