Every year, I portray dozens of couples from all over the world around Europe. This is the first time I have the pleasure of photographing a couple from Costa Rica and their lovely wedding at Villa Le Piazzole in Florence.
The bride, who’s been forever deeply in love with Italy, couldn’t help but choose Florence as the location for her wedding. So she left Costa Rica with a few family members to spend some relaxing days in the Florentine countryside. Right here is Villa Le Piazzole. Surrounded by rows of olive trees and cypresses, the villa has a desirable location, overlooking Florence and the surrounding hills. Is less than 10 minutes away from the major attractions of the Tuscan city and offers its guests relaxation, privacy and a stunning swimming pool with a view.
Both the bride and the groom got ready inside the rooms of the villa. The ceremony took place in the garden where the wedding planner and the florists have created a pretty enchanting setting. The ceremony was touching, thanks to some songs chanted by friends for this loving couple. Subsequently, while the guests were enjoying a drink at the pool, I pictured the newlyweds inside the property of the villa and in the most enchanting spots of Florence.
The dinner was held in front of the grand facade of the villa. One rustic table had been set with pots of flowers and candles; some lighting chains ran above invitees and guests, tinting everything with a wonderfully warm and enveloping light. Among the many features that Villa Le Piazzole can offer, the Orangerie is undoubtedly one of the points in its favour. The first dance took place here just before I said goodbye to the bride and groom. For them, the night had just begun.
