In particular, Villa Grabau, which quickly became the venue of their wedding. The villa is located in the countryside near Lucca, surrounded by green vegetation. Reachable in a few minute drive from the centre of the Tuscan city, it is one of the most appreciated locations, thanks to the fabulous gardens and the limonaia, the winter garden.
The bride got ready in one of the houses of the property, surrounded by her closest friends. She chose to meet the groom in private, along the path leading to the altar, to spend some time with him before the ceremony. The symbolic service took place in the magnificent central garden, in front of the grand facade of the villa.
Soon after, while grey clouds were gathering above the venue, guests have enjoyed a superb cocktail inside. I had all the intimacy necessary for capturing great portraits in the secret gardens of Villa Grabau, filled with lush plants. It could not be easier! The bride and groom were radiant and happy, and when I asked them to strike their best pose, they would burst out laughing. These are the best moments to take spontaneous and relaxed photographs.
The dinner was held in the fabulous limonaia. Friends and relatives made the traditional speeches, toasting with the excellent local wine to the health of the newlyweds!
