Villa Oliva is one of the most impressive venues for weddings in Lucca. It’s the classic Italian villa, central to a vast park with secular plants. The lovebirds of today have decided to celebrate their union here.
The bride and groom got ready by two apartments in the centre of the Tuscan town. The bride wore her fabulous Oscar De La Renta gown and her Manolo Blahnik shoes, on whom she walked the most exciting steps of her life. The symbolic ceremony took place by the villa’s conservatory, well-attended by excited family members and friends.
While the guests enjoyed delicious canapes in the garden, I portrayed the couple in the most beautiful spots of the venue. Villa Oliva is perfect for any photo shoot, thanks to its large areas in the in the green, perfect to get refreshed in this hot summer day – as well as to get fantastic wedding photos. The newlyweds, finally alone, chatted as they strolled, letting me capture candid and lovely moments of their Big Day.
The wedding dinner took place “al fresco” in the large garden. The wedding planners had magically set up the tables with favours, candles and lots of fresh flowers. Later, the newlyweds danced together for the first time as a wife and husband, before cutting the wedding cake in the shade of a big tree. I greeted them a little later, while still excited they were dancing with their friends. Here are some of their wedding photos in Lucca.
