Every year, hundreds of families from Europe and America get to Italy. Most for tourism, but also to spend a few days off with their closest family members in one of the most beautiful countries of the world. Many of them, after the first year, come back, and a few years later, they’re so deeply rooted in the villages of Tuscany that you might mistake them for locals. It could be the story of this Monte San Savino wedding and her bride, who spent most of her summer holidays here. She couldn’t consider any other location to get married abroad. Tuscany must be the destination of her wedding.
The lovebirds got ready in a private house together with their closest family members. The groom watched his bride-to-be walk down the aisle of Sant’Agostino church, before exchanging vows and rings in front of a few moved guests. After a quick stroll around the streets of the village, the couple enjoyed a snack in the piazza, during which they cut the wedding cake and toast each other for the first time as a husband and wife. The reception took place at Casa Cornacchi. This country house is located close to Arezzo, lost in the countryside among hills and cypress trees. That’s an old authentic Tuscan village, expertly renovated. The property organises rustic-chic weddings with a few guests. Before and after the wedding (or maybe for the honeymoon), the newlyweds might relax with their friends by the pool and enjoy the beauties – and the food, of course – of the surrounding area. The dinner al fresco was the moment of the speeches. And while the night fell and the sky became blue, I greeted the newlyweds, still excited for the fantastic day.
