This was such a delightful surprise that this American couple chose a castle as the backdrop for their Babymoon photos. Meleto Castle in Gaiole in Chianti, with its rich history dating back to the 13th century, provides a truly exquisite environment for photo shoots. Its magnificent architecture and scenic surroundings grounds offer a timeless charm that beautifully complements the most fun portrait sessions.
Meeting at the castle in the late afternoon allowed us to bask in the romantic light of the sunset, which beautifully enhanced their shapes and created a magical ambiance. Despite the heat, the dad-to-be was an absolute gem, making the mom-to-be feel relaxed and comfortable throughout the shoot. It’s not always easy being on the other side of the camera, but this couple had an amazing connection, and their love truly shone through. The couple was so at ease that it only took a few moments to break the ice, and we were able to capture some incredibly stunning shots.
I guided them through the most breathtaking spots in the Meleto Castle property to capture beautiful moments with the baby bump – and guess what? It’s going to be a boy! I can’t help but wonder how he will feel when he looks back at these photos of his mom and dad so deeply in love, captured in a picturesque setting on the other side of the world.
